![]() ![]() Luckily my son was not in the car because if he was then I would not be writing you this but instead I would be sitting in a jail cell. when the car caught and jumped forward it threw the car and her into a tree and the car hit in the front corner. When she was at a corner the car went into a safe or shut down mode as she was trying to step on the accelerator the transmission slipped shuttered and caught as she was trying to get to the side of the rode due to the shut down mode. ![]() to bring it in but they said you can still drive it. A couple of days after speaking with the dealers my wife was going to the store as I was swimming in the pool with my son and I told her to be careful with the car because the transmission was acting a little strange and I have an appt. Keep in mind this car is the car that my son gets driven around in, usually with my wife as I have a dump truck. because I was taking care of my son whom is autistic and non verbal 13- yr old, I was in the position of having to do mom and dads work with him because my wife was battling back from cancer surgery. In the following few days I did not make it to the appt. After I hung up I questioned the safeness in driving it there, so I called the dealers back and asked them if it was ok to drive it there like it was and they both said yes and I have the entire conversations on recorder. After talking to this dealer I wanted a second opinion and called another dealer of Nissan and was told the same thing, bring it in to do a check on it for a fee. I explained what happened and that there was no dash lights going on or anything and the dealer told me to bring it in for a diagnosis for $140. When I got home I checked the fluid and it was up and I chocked it up as a glitch and I called the Nissan dealership. About two weeks ago I took the rogue out to the store ( I don't drive the car usually because I drive my truck ) and when I went to take off at a stop the car had no power and the transmission whined and shuttered and then jumped forward and drove. The same Nissan company that has had thousands upon thousands of CVT transmission issues. Since buying it it has had one front axel put in at 50-k miles and the other front axel replaced at 75-k miles … keep in mind this is a CVT transmission and axels. I have a 2011 Nissan rogue all wheel drive that retailed for $29000.oo.
